When speaking on most unpleasant things about high schools or universities, many students point to various tests, checks and exams. No wonder. All people are afraid of being estimated; especially if they feel that they didn’t do all they had to. That is just for all spheres of life, but education is even more characterized with such fears of checks. Because teaching itself presupposes that sooner or later those who are taught have to be evaluated and their progress has to be tracked and estimated. And facing the necessity to be evaluated is almost always stressful. Besides, students are often afraid of bad grades, because they are afraid of disappointing their parents or teachers. That is why a student will rather write an article to school digest then pass some test.
