Teachers like to assign students writing an essay about their vacation or some holidays. After Christmas vacation, students come to school and they need to describe the way the spent Christmas. For many students it is quite a difficult task, because they can hardly think of something new and write common things in their essay. Indeed, not many children are lucky to spend Christmas or winter vacation skiing or at some exotic place. Instead, they watch TV or go to various Internet pages, watching funny links. Anyway, teachers should motivate students to express their vision of this holiday. Because despite the way we spend Christmas, we all have our feelings about this holiday and it is good if students can express those feelings.
